User Fee mooted at 6 more airports

Airports Authority of India, has submitted a proposal to government of India for levying user development fee at 6 airports viz.Mangalore, Trichy, Vizag and Udaipur, Amritsar and Varanasi. As of now, only the airport which are developed under private sector partnership are charging user development fee from departing passengers. AAI has sought a fee from Rs.150 to Rs.900 from each departing traveller. The authority had earlier sought to levy such fee for Chennai and Kolkatta airports but no decision had been taken yet.| Next > |
