Bangalore Airport to get second passenger terminal building

Bangalore International Airport Ltd board which has recently met has decided to initiate process for building a new passenger terminal building. Anticipating a 60 % increase in passenger traffic from 9.4 million passengers movement in 2009. Its design for the new terminal will be decided through a global bidding process. Global architectural firm HOK has been appointed to design the expansion.
